Law Enforcement Coaching
On April 17, 2016, Governor Wolfe signed the Medical Marijuana Law in Pennsylvania, making it authorized for Pennsylvania residents to own medical marijuana in varied types for treatment of sure ailments. As of 2021, there are over 500,000 patients and caregivers registered for PA’s Medical Marijuana Program with over 280.000 energetic certifications.There are also greater than 1500 medical doctors registered and approved by the Commonwealth. This course doesn’t remove the need for brand new task pressure members to attend and efficiently complete 8-hour Sobriety Checkpoint Training as taught by a statewide company solely. This 4 hour supervisor training does not permit coaching of the full 8 hour class. Students start with a four-hour SFST refresher to make sure their proficiency as SFSTs are the cornerstone of all impaired driving enforcement.
This course makes use of curriculum developed and accredited by NHTSA and the IACP to train legislation enforcement officers in the detection and apprehension of impaired drivers using the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Officers obtain training in the three phases of DUI detection – Vehicle in Motion, Driver Contact and Pre-Arrest Screening as well as documentation of their observations and courtroom testament.
